Note:
Windows Mobile 2003 (First Edition) users: Even though .Net Compact Framework 1.0 is installed in WM2003, CryptoCard requires .Net Compact Framework 1.0 SP2 (Service Pack 2) to work properly, so, download and install it.

Windows Mobile 2003 SE (Second Edition) users: Yo do not need to install .Net Compact Framework 1.0 SP2, because it is already installed in WM2003SE.

Dell Axim X3 users: Do not install CryptoCard on Dell Axim ROM (Built-in Storage), you can install it in PDA main memory or in a expansion card (SD or Compact Flash).

I tried this tool, I found the front end very nice, and even if some part could be improved (like: having to tap, hold then select open/view, to have the information you need), this is the best looking password manager I tried. However after checking the algorithm used to crypt the data, I wasn't very convinced (CryptoCard is using RC2 + MD5), I was looking for a tool using either triple DES or AES. But the worst part is the next one: if you put any data in the "info" field of the cards, the words and numbers entered in this area will be stored in the "auto-completion" list! For example, I had a id number of 10 digits starting with 04, and as soon as I entered those first two digit in another application, the id number was suggested by the pda!!!!!

Haven't tried it yet. Wanted to know if the data can be backed up on a PC? Also if the memory footprint of sp2 is ~14MB on a Win2003; less or more? Thanx in advance.

I'm a simple .net programmer, I made CryptoCard because I needed a wallet program, and 1 year ago I could not find a good freeware, and other wallet programs were so expensive for me, so, I make my own program, then, I think in share it because I'm an active user of freewares. I have been thinking in get "donatinos", but, PayPal do not work here in Argentina, and I could not find a way to get money from other countries. If someone need my personal data send me an email and I will send the requested data.

Looks good, but... PMMMAX, why are you so annonym? Whats the reason for this? I'll try to use a security software and there is so less knowing about the programmer/owner. Sorry, but Cryptocard requires the lastest .Net CF to work properly, I know .Net CF requires some of PDA memory, but there are many applications which requires .Net CF, and you only needs to install it one time, to use all of these applications.

Having to install the newer .NET framework is unacceptable. This consumes too much valuable PPC-memory. Could you please work around this requirement?
