Enabling the thumbnail cache actually slows thumbnailing down! The thumbnails take up too much space so the 400KB cache only holds a few, the rest are generated on the fly, but so slowly that it's much quicker to disable the caching and generate all thumbs on the fly. Other than that it's a nice viewer, but it would be nice to be able to adjust the colour balance using when displaying images in the way that TCPMP allows.

The filename shows regardless the "Show filename in fullscreen" is unchecked.

An excellent viewer. What a wonderful job. God Bless you.

Worked ok, but since install, my device needs to actually go through power up and start up screens, and restart 2 or 3 times before it stays on for me to use it. Not a good side effect.

Excellent one ! ... Nothing more to say. And also, IT CAN PLAY GIF ANIMATED files too ....

Since you can't run Irfanview on a PPC, the next best thing has to be an Irfanview clone! This is probably the best viewer around on this platform. Some minor quirks but nothing serious.

Very good software. It would be perfect if it had a menu for rotation while viewing an image, better and selectable resizing algorithms (I think that bicubic would solve the problem) and thumbnail saving (in a database, like other viewing software do), for a faster view of already visited folders. Congratulations and thanks to the author.

I'd give it 6 *'s if I could! This is way better than the commercial apps I've demoed which either froze my ppc or just blew themselves up after not working right in the first place. And it's free! Thanks for an excellent job and sharing!

Does what is says on the tin - very well. Easy to navigate, good suite of tools and much better than built in PocketPC viewer. Would definitely recommend downloading and installing.

I can not view more than one page in each .tif file. I click next page and I get next file. This is not good for reading .tif faxes.

Works very well, an improvemet on built in viewer I think. A litte sluggish but well worth installing.

When using button to zoom out, the image will not render automatically.

***** [Mar 14, 2005] by Chester using Axim X50v
This program is by far the best image view and slide show. It's easy to navigate to your folder and it's easy to go forward and backward in your slide show.

**** [Mar 14, 2005] by Dave using Dell Axim x5 400MHz Pocket PC 2002
The landscape slideshow works very well. If you have the time to resize your pictures to 600x800 the program runs much faster.

Nice and easy to use. Bit sluggish with large jpegs but I think that's got more to do with the hardware . . Does just what it says on the tin!
