Features:

Installation:
- Uninstall older version.
- Extract CAB and install on Pocket PC.
- Soft Reset Pocket PC.

How to:

• If you use ILauncher consider to uninstall it for best use of iFonz.
• If you want enter directly on the General Settings click on the link in Programs Folder "iFonz Settings".
• To open General Settings Tap and Hold on background.
• To open Icon Settings Tap and Hold on desired icon.
• To enable/disable Windows Startup open General Settings and check/uncheck the option.
• To save/load Themes and settings Tap and Hold on Battery and click on Themes->Load/Save and choose the file.
• To minimize Tap and Hold on Battery in the main screen and click on minimize.
• To view all Pocket PC status info Tap and Hold on Battery in the main screen and go to Status menu.
• To view AM/PM hour go to Regional Settings in your pocket pc and set correctly your Timezone and Time settings.
• To exit click on battery in the main screen.
• To add shortcut to a folder in the command line use "\windows\fexplore.exe" and in the argument set the folder path.
• To add shortcut to a midlet java in the command line use "[the path of your java manager]" and in the argument set the parameter of your java application (Es: Command: "\windows\jmm.exe" Arguments:"-r"Gmail","Google","Gmail").
• To add shortcut to an internet address write in command line the internet address.
• To Copy/Swap an icon tap and hold on 1 icon and choose Copy/Swap and after tap and hold another icon and choose Paste here/Swap here.
• If iFonz close when hit the "Red Button" after a call, assign a specific button of your PPC for restart it, set it in PPC settings.
• If your Pocket PC is old or slow go to General Settings and disable all Special Effects and set Animation to "Nothing".
• If you do a lot of changes in General Settings and iFonz become slow, restart it.
• To go in debug mode create a file "Debuco" in the iFonz directory and use the program. In the folder I create a new text file called Logfile.txt with all operations and errors.
• For lock device and show a big image of caller whe you receive a call use S2U2 program (The best ever from A_C).

There are a lots of options, discover all and set as your flavor. Tested iFonz on HTC TyTN and all goes good.

Update Description:
v1.0.4 (02-08-2008):
- Correct bugs.
- Pink/Red letters on slide are coming because is active in Windows Mobile Settings the ClearType Text option, if you disable it the letters color are ok.
- The "!" in calendar icon is deleted if you not select to view the appointments.
- Reduced space between icons if you choose to not show name of icons. Now in a QVGA with icons 48x48 without names and bottom bar you can set 20 icons for page.
- Correct the positions of circles of pages.
- Now iFonz draw bottom bar only if there are at least one icon.
- Redraw rotate function.

v1.0.0 (28-07-2008):
- Now iFonz use Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 3.5, native in Windows Mobile 6.
- Finally iFonz have all icons near and not blank screen from a page to another page.
- iFonz & iFonz Settings more stable in all devices.
- iFonz Settings now is separeted from iFonz and in iFonz when click on "Open Settings" open "iFonz Settings.exe".
- New extra icons and wallpapers.
- Now if you choose the notification of Appointments iFonz get number from calendar otherwise it get from Today screen only next appointment.
- Now when choose a contact in "Icon Edit" it ask if you want apply the name of the contact selected to icon.
- iFonz speed improvements.
- Now when edit an icon the program ask if you want to use the image of program selected, for the old version of iFonz reedit the icons with no image and reset the program file.
- New slides animations with fade effect you can choose in General Settings.
- Now Fade in and Fade out are together in "Fade In & Out" and a new Fade effect for slides are in General Settings.
- Now if you choose Animation Nothing in General Settings all Slides dont work and all other panel show normally without enter/exit animation.
- Added finally in iFonz folder the language file (lang.txt). It load at the start of iFonz, if you modify it restart iFonz.
- Do rounded corners for contact images.
- Important: If you dont look the good image in your icons re-assign the command file.

v0.9.9 (21-04-2008):
- Added image animation when return to iFonz.
- Added 2 images in "gfx" folder called "LoadingP.bmp" e "LoadingL.bmp" used in open animation program, now you can change these files for customization.
- Added a Type Icon to move Home/Prev/Next page.
- Added a Type Icon called "Contact" to call anyone from your contacts or a number directly.
- Increased the maximum dimension of icons in settings to 128x128.
- Increased the icons font dimension for VGA users.
- Increased general speed during usage.
- Correct some problems when iFonz return on top with some programs.

- Now VGA graphics should be correct in a lot of screens, all font dimension is the same of QVGA.
- Now you can select with D-Pad the icons in screen, with Enter button start the associated program. For go to next/prev page use left and right softkeys.
- Added Alarm notification in the TopBar.
- Now the settings bar have the same icons of normal top bar.
- Now the Day on calendar is 3 letters, in Upper case and i increase the dimension of the font.
- Add new setting to set the Top Bar of main iFonz form same as top bar of Settings.

I have the previous IFONZ software on my phone and love it but I want to upgrade so I downloaded the new 3.5 microsoft compact but when I tried to run the program it wouldnt work and when I tried to run the new IFONZ it said i needed a newer version than what I had on my phone but I had the newer version so I don't know what to do.

Looks great and I want to install... but when I try to first install the latest compact net framework (as previously suggested) it fails because I need to remove/uninstall the previous version first. Okay but where is that program found? I don't know how to do what its telling me to do. Help?

Seems to work on my phone, after installation of microsft.net upgrade. With a couple issues:
1) Phone icon doesnt bring you to anything to enable you to use the phone. Basically, there's no way to dial anyone unless you set the contact as an icon.
2) Ifonz does not stay open even though I clicked "Run with Windos" option. Keeps closing and I have to relaunch program every time phone goes to sleep.
Any advice?

Works great! I'm shocked that something this cool actually works for the ipaq series! And works very well. I would change a couple of small things, but out of the box it's quite amazing! I installed this software 2 weeks ago, and I was impressed, but it did slow up to a point it was unusable in my opinion. However this version has improved it no end. Couple of wish list items a percentage on the battery bar and an icon that links to a weather site to give a local temperature display on the icon.

Best free iPhone style Launcher after the Re's Launcher... Yet a bit laggy on HTC Touch (installed on RAM or Card), may be need not to be so fancy on the set up pages (they are so nice looking) . Suggestion (1): to assign a program to icon will use back the iphone design icon & description. To change the icon & description need to find an icon image & type in: Why not auto retrieve program name & icon like all the other launchers does? Suggestion (2): the select page white dots (if 2 pages is set) seemed lacking response; & the 2nd page used exactly the same iphone style icons & description: Why not a blank page with dummy icons (for page 2 & beyond) for easy assess?

Whether I install the software to my Micro SD card or direct to my hand set, while clicking on the icon in the program page, some chinese characters appear that seems to be error with the installation. Software conflict? Anyone with similar issue using Asus P750?
