FAQs:
Q. What is meant by Windows 7 like task bar.
A. On the bottom of SmartEndKey you'll find all tasks. You can pin and sort them like you can in Windows 7. To do this, swipe vertically (this means to flick your finger) over a task. In the appearing context menu, click on "Rank as first entry" to reorder it or click on "Pin" to pin it. If you have pinned a task, it will appear half-transparent if the app is not started. You can now click on it to start the app.
Q. Oops, I have hidden a shortcut but I need it now.
A. Click on the last item in the shortcut list (on the top). In the appearing context menu, click on shortcuts. In this menu, you can edit the visibility from each shortcut by clicking on it.
Q. What does "Fast startup (experimental)" mean?
A. If Fast startup is checked, SmartEndKey stays in memory. Thus, the app loads much faster but it needs more memory. If you experience any issues, try to turn "Fast startup (experimental)" off.
Q. How can I get back the default shortcut app - the one that is started when I hold down the right hardware button for 3 sec?
A. Start SmartEndKey. Tap on the Settings shortcut and uncheck "Integrate". If you have uninstalled SmartEndKey, open the File Explorer and browse to the SmartEndKey program folder (either "\Program Files\SmartEndKey" or "\Storage Card\Program Files\SmartEndKey"). Rename "EndKeyBackup.exe" to "EndKey.exe". Copy the renamed file into your windows directory ("\Windows\"); overwrite the existing file.
Q. I still have another problem or question? What should I do?
A. Contact us. You can either tap on "Support" within SmartEndKey or leave a comment on this blog.
